In a video footage on the social media, statistician and researcher Dr Vincent Marmara explained the ways with which the Coronavirus pandemic may be stopped.

Dr Marmara said that the principal difference between Influenza and Coronavirus is that two persons infect other three persons with Influenza, while two persons are capable of infecting five persons with Covid-19.

Another difference is that while Influenza emerges fast, the Coronavirus symptoms may take between two and fourteen days. This makes it possible that a person has time to infect more people.

Dr Marmara stressed that the more a person adheres to social distancing, the more one reduces the reproduction ratio.

He added that if the country is in a situation that each person is infecting less than one person, the epidemic will completely end and we move towards the principal aim.
